Decade of evaluation for action

RoSE as a Member of the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation - IOCE, is an active promoter in Romania of the Awareness Campaign “A DECADE OF >>> ACTION

.In September 2019, the UN Secretary-General called on all sectors of society to mobilize for a decade of action on three levels: global action to secure greater leadership, more resources and smarter solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals; local action embedding the needed transitions in the policies, budgets, institutions and regulatory frameworks of governments, cities and local authorities; and people action, including by youth, civil society, the media, the private sector, unions, academia and other stakeholders, to generate an unstoppable movement pushing for the required transformations.

IMPORTANT! Change of address for RoSE Headquarters

According to the approval of the General Assembly of April 10, 2019, the Romanian Society of Evaluators of Project, Programmes and Public Policies - RoSE changed the Seat of its Headquarters.

Starting with May 2019, the new RoSE Headquarters is seated in Bd. Stefan cel Mare, no. 13 A, CRP Complex, Administrative Block, 1st Floor, Bucharest District 2.

We are waiting for you at our new Headquarters.

RoSE authorized training provider until 2022

Considering RoSE’s experience in developing the Occupational Standard and the results of its activity as authorized professional training for the period 2014-2018, Romanian Society of Evaluators of Project, Programmes and Public Policies - RoSE has been authorized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice and the Ministry National Education to provide training courses for the occupation Evaluator of Projects, COR code 241263, for the further four years-period, starting with February 2019.

The authorization can be consulted here.

The training provided at RoSE Headquarters will be tailored to cope with the new European Programs and to respond to organizations and individuals interested in specific areas of intervention. Upon request, courses can be organized at the seat of interested organizations for groups of min. 10 people or in other locations in the country.

NEW! Call for Projects EvalPartners Innovation Challenge

RoSE as an active member of the Eval Partners Global Network, with sound references in international projects, has been invited to participate  in the EvalPartners Innovation Challenge on "Strengthening the Role of VOPEs in Democratizing Learning and Evaluation". This is  to invite RoSE Members to identify transnational partners and to initate a project proposal. The deadline is November 30, 2018. RoSE Board Committee provides support at the request of those interested. The Call for Projects can be consulted here and the Application Form can be downloaded here. New information on the Training Course PROJECTS EVALUATOR – Code COR 241263

The participants in the accredited training course PROJECTS EVALUATOR to be held from 19 May to 15 June 2018 at RoSE Headquarters in Bucharest.  The Training Agenda is available here. We are looking forward to working with you!

Invitation: International workshop - GEA2020 in Romania

On May 21, 2017, 9.30-13.00, ROSE hosts at its Headquarters in Bucharest, Traian Street 184-186, Building A, 6th Floor, Sector 2, the International Workshop on Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020 (GEA2020), with the participation of national associations of evaluators from Romania, Albania and Kosovo. The event is organized under the ARK2GEA transnational project and aims to promote the priorities of EvalAgenda2020 and to initiate an Action Plan that enhances evaluation mainstreaming at regional level. An open call for participation is launched to all RoSE members and to other interested persons. RoSE supports the Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020

In its General Assembly of April 7, 2017 RoSE endorsed the Declaration for supporting the Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020 (GEA2020), elaborated within the transnational project ARK2GEA. In addition to the Declaration, RoSE launched calls for evaluators to participate in EvalPartners networks: EvalGender+, EVALSDGs, EvalIndigenous, EvalYouth, Global Parliamentarians for Development Evaluation and for partnerships with the organizations interested in evaluation mainstreaming.

Call to endorse Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020

RoSE, ASPE and KEN, the professional associations of evaluators of Romania, Albania and Kosovo, as partners in the ARK2GEA Project have agreed on the Joint Statement to endorse the Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020 (GEA2020).

RoSE awarded for a new transnational project

ROSE has been awarded for a new project submitted under the Call for proposals 2016 of EvalPartners Peer-to-Peer Grants. Following a fierce global competition, aimed to select only one project at every continent, the project ARK2GEA "Transnational Cooperation Romania-Albania-Kosovo Evaluation Towards the Implementation of the Global Agenda 2016-2020", initiated by ROSE, was awarded on behalf Europe Region.

RoSE has bee awarded for an International Project

The project proposal submitted by RoSE under the"Peer-to-Peer (P2P) & Innovation Challenge Small Grant Program", launched by IOCE Network and funded by the Government of Finland and USAID, has been selected for funding.The project provides transfer of experience and best practices to professionalize the occupation of evaluator within the network. The Occupational Standard for Project Evaluator enforced and published

As a Christmas Gift, the National Authority of Qualifications issued the Decision No. 489 of 20.12.2012  to approve and publish the Occupational Standard, initiated and prepared by RoSE for Project Evaluator, COR Code 241263.  The Occupational Standard published by the National Authority of Qualifications could be downloaded from this link.

The Key Qualifications for Project Evaluator endorsed

The Key Qualifications associated to the Project Evaluator, developed by RoSE were verified and endorsed by the Sectoral Committee “Administration and Public Services” of National Authority of Qualifications. This is the last stage on the chain to get the Occupational Standard Project Evaluator enforced by the National Authority for Qualifications.

Technical Assistance for Assessment of Grant Proposals

RoSE-THE ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF EVALUATORS takes part in the tender for the Technical Assistance Project “Assessment services for the Financial Requests submitted within the Axis I to V of ROP 2007-2013", launched by the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism.

The Draft Occupational Standard for Project Evaluator endorsed

The Draft Occupational Standard for the Project Evaluator prepared by RoSE has been has been verified and endorsed by the Sectoral Committee “Administration and Public Services”, according to  the Methodology of National Authority for Qualifications.
